Food and Beverage Team Leader Job Description

As a Food and Beverage Team Leader, you play a crucial role in driving the success of our food and beverage operations.

The primary responsibility of this position is to supervise and manage the day-to-day activities of the food and beverage team. This includes:

  • Ensuring that all food and beverages are prepared and presented to the highest standards;
  • Managing inventory levels and maintaining a clean and safe working environment;
  • Providing exceptional customer service and resolving any customer complaints promptly;
  • Working closely with the kitchen and front-of-house teams to ensure seamless communication and service delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Supervise and manage the food and beverage team to achieve excellent guest and member satisfaction scores.
  2. Implement effective systems and processes to drive sales growth and revenue increase.
  3. Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including chefs, restaurant managers, and other departments.
  4. Collaborate with external partners and suppliers to source high-quality products and services.
  5. Contribute to the development and implementation of menu changes, promotions, and marketing initiatives.
  6. Monitor and control labor costs, inventory, and overheads to ensure financial targets are met.
  7. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a supervisory or management role within the food and beverage industry.
  • Proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service and improving operational efficiency.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a high-performing team.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple deadlines.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify areas for improvement and implement change.
