Job Title: Bookkeeper

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to manage our financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and inventory. This is a full-time remote position with excellent growth opportunities.

About the Role:

  • This role involves working directly with our team based in the USA.
  • You will be responsible for keeping all accounts current, reconciling bank accounts, entering expenses, and all other actions related to entering and reconciling financial transactions.

Responsibilities:

  1. Process purchase orders, bills, vendor credits, and reconcile vendor accounts.
  2. Prepare estimates, invoices, credit memos, and reconcile customer accounts.
  3. Calculate, report, and remit sales taxes and royalties.
  4. Perform general accrual accounting tasks.
  5. Monitor budgets and cash flow to ensure financial stability.
  6. Prepare and send year-end tax documents to accountants.
  7. Generate periodic financial reports as assigned.
  8. Perform journal entries as needed and respond to requests for information from external accountants.

  • Shipstation

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Proven 5+ years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting.
  • Proficient with accounting practices.
  • Excellent communication skills, fluent in written and spoken English.
  • Highly detail-oriented, proactive, and resilient with strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to manage deadlines and maintain accuracy under pressure.
