Job Title: Senior Biomedical Product Development Specialist
Job Description:

This role is focused on the development of innovative medical devices and equipment, ensuring they meet regulatory standards, safety requirements, and usability guidelines.

  • Develop detailed specifications for medical devices, conduct feasibility studies, and oversee prototype fabrication and testing to bring new products to market.
  • Manage the product development lifecycle, including setting project milestones, allocating resources, coordinating cross-functional teams, and ensuring timely delivery of high-quality solutions.
  • Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement effective mitigation strategies to ensure successful product launches.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Biomedical Engineering or a related field (PhD may be preferred for certain positions)
  • 8+ years of experience in biomedical engineering, medical device development, or a related field
  • Strong knowledge of medical device regulations and standards, including FDA and ISO compliance
  • Proficiency in engineering design software and tools, such as CAD and MATLAB
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams and attention to detail with commitment to quality and patient safety
