**Design Engineer for Powertrain Inverters**

As a Design Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the design and development of powertrain inverters and associated sub-assemblies.

  • Develop and implement mechanical designs for inverter assemblies and components from concept through to production.
  • Apply Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T) principles to ensure design intent and manufacturability.
  • Conduct creepage and clearance analysis to ensure high-voltage safety standards are met.
  • Perform tolerance stack-up analysis to validate design robustness and functionality.
  • Create and manage detailed 3D models and 2D drawings using computer-aided design (CAD) tools.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including electrical, thermal, and manufacturing engineers to achieve common goals.
  • Support design reviews, failure mode and effects analysis (DFMEA), and validation planning activities.
