Job Title: Fabric Lead

Are you a seasoned professional with expertise in data engineering, business intelligence, and Azure services? We are seeking an experienced Fabric Lead to spearhead our data solutions team.

This is a contract position, renewable every six months. The successful candidate will work remotely and be part of a dynamic team that thrives on collaboration and innovation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and oversee the architecture of Microsoft Fabric solutions, ensuring seamless integration with Power BI, Synapse, Data Factory, and other Azure services.
  • Lead a team of data engineers, BI developers, and analysts in delivering scalable and secure data solutions.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, translate them into technical designs, and ensure timely delivery.
  • Stay up-to-date with Microsoft Fabric features, updates, and industry trends to recommend improvements.
  • Define and implement data ingestion, transformation, and storage strategies leveraging Lakehouses, Data Warehouses, and Real-Time Analytics.
  • Establish data governance, security, and compliance frameworks within Microsoft Fabric.
  • Monitor and optimize data pipelines and queries for performance and cost efficiency.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, and Azure Data Services (Synapse, Data Factory, Data Lake).
  • Strong understanding of data modeling, ETL/ELT processes, and data governance.
