Senior System Testing Manager

This role involves overseeing the execution of end-to-end testing activities for multiple applications within the Equity Cash and Equity Derivatives Exchange systems, ensuring seamless integration with trading, clearing, and settlement processes.
Key Responsibilities- Develop comprehensive test plans and estimations based on functional requirements of Equity Cash and Equity Derivatives trading, risk management, and settlement modules;
- Manage design, documentation, and execution of test cases, allocate testers, manage defects and bug reporting, and coordinate with stakeholders;
- Prepare and present regular test progress reports to various teams, including business, technology, and compliance groups;
- Collaborate in mock trading and market simulation activities for both Cash and Derivatives segments, as well as internal audit activities for SOP and regulatory compliance checks;
- Monitor process implementation according to defined SOP and exchange regulatory guidelines.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (MCA/M.Sc. - IT preferred);
- At least one testing certification from a reputable institution (preferred);
- Experience in managing testing activities in the BFSI domain, with direct experience in Equity Cash and/or Equity Derivatives exchange systems preferred;
- Familiarity with trading life cycle, order matching engines, market data dissemination, and post-trade processes;
- Strong knowledge of system testing metrics, best practices, and methodologies for high-availability, low-latency trading systems;
- Proven data analysis, verification, and problem-solving abilities in a market-critical environment;
- Detailed knowledge of exchange trading platforms, clearing and settlement systems, and risk management modules;
- Technical fluency in relevant programming languages and database systems;
- Understanding of regulatory requirements from exchanges and clearing corporations;
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts in a business-friendly manner;
- Continuous learning mindset to adapt to evolving market structures and regulations;
- Attention to detail and accuracy under time-critical conditions;
- Initiative and self-motivation.
