Job Description

As a seasoned Senior SQL Server Database Administrator, you will play a pivotal role in managing and securing our company's database infrastructure. With strong expertise in Azure SQL Server and Subscription management, you will be responsible for planning, implementing, and overseeing high-availability and cost-efficient solutions.

Your primary focus will be on administering SQL Server databases, both on-premises and in the Azure cloud. You will need to perform database performance tuning, query optimization, indexing, and monitoring to ensure optimal system efficiency.

  • Database Administration: Manage and administer SQL Server databases (on-premises and Azure SQL).
  • Azure SQL Subscription Management: Plan, implement, and oversee Azure SQL Subscription services.
  • Performance Tuning: Perform database performance tuning, query optimization, indexing, and monitoring.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To excel in this role, you will require:

  • Minimum 10 years of experience as a SQL Server DBA.
  • Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with Azure SQL Server and Azure SQL Subscription management.
  • Strong experience in performance tuning and troubleshooting database issues.
