Key Roles for a Senior Database Administrator

We are seeking a highly experienced and versatile professional with deep expertise in both Oracle and SQL Server environments.

  • Database Design and Administration: Design, install, configure, and maintain Oracle and SQL Server databases in production and development environments.
  • Performance Tuning and Optimization: Perform advanced performance tuning, query optimization, and capacity planning to ensure optimal database performance.
  • High Availability and Disaster Recovery: Manage high availability and disaster recovery solutions to minimize downtime and ensure business continuity.
  • Backup and Recovery Strategies: Implement and maintain backup and recovery strategies to prevent data loss and ensure quick recovery.
  • Database Health Monitoring: Monitor database health and proactively resolve issues to ensure optimal performance and uptime.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • 8+ years of experience in database administration with strong hands-on expertise in both Oracle (12c/19c/21c) and SQL Server (2016/2019/2022).
  • Proficiency in SQL, PL/SQL, T-SQL, and database performance tuning techniques.
  • Experience with Oracle RAC, ASM, Data Guard, and SQL Server Always On Availability Groups.
  • Strong knowledge of Unix/Linux and Windows Server environments.
