Role: Senior QA Automation Engineer (Playwright)
Job Responsibilities
- Develop robust automated test suites using Playwright or similar frameworks to ensure seamless software deployment.
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other QA engineers to guarantee comprehensive test coverage and business alignment.
- Create reusable test frameworks for UI, API, and end-to-end testing to enhance overall efficiency.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for efficient deployments and minimize downtime.
- Identify, document, and track defects using project management tools, and collaborate with engineering to drive resolution.
- Develop and maintain test plans, test cases, and scripts for manual and automated testing to ensure quality standards.
- Conduct performance testing, regression testing, and cross-browser testing to validate application quality and identify areas for improvement.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- 8+ years of software testing experience, with 3+ years specifically in test automation using Playwright or equivalent.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript programming languages, including browser automation experience.
- Good understanding of RESTful APIs and API testing tools like Postman or Swagger.
- Experience with version control systems and collaborative workflows.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools like GitHub Actions or CircleCI.
- Solid grasp of Agile methodologies and comfort working in fast-paced environments.
- Excellent analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills.
