About this role:

We're looking for a skilled motion designer and animator to help us bring our clients' ideas to life. From animated explainers and product demos to social media visuals, your work will directly shape how startups communicate, pitch, and grow.

You'll thrive at the intersection of motion, design, and editing, building assets from scratch or animating provided files. Your goal will be to tell a compelling visual story with rhythm, clarity, and flair.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Animating 2D explainer videos, social media reels, UI motions, and logo animations
  • Designing and animating storyboards, illustrations, and visual assets
  • Editing video content into short-form and long-form formats
  • Translating static designs into dynamic visual content
  • Collaborating with creative leads and project managers on briefs and revisions
  • Ensuring consistency with brand guidelines and client expectations
  • Delivering exports optimized for web, mobile, and presentations

Requirements:

  • Strong command of After Effects, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Premiere Pro
  • Good eye for design, animation timing, and transitions
  • Proficiency in editing raw footage and mixing motion with live video
  • Experience designing for digital formats (Instagram, YouTube, product demos)
  • Solid understanding of typography, layout, color theory, and composition
  • Ability to work independently and manage deadlines remotely

Bonus skills:

  • Experience with Figma, CapCut, Canva, or similar tools
  • Sound design/audio syncing knowledge
  • Prior experience working with SaaS startups or digital agencies
  • Familiarity with Jira, Notion, or task-based workflows

As a successful candidate, you'll have a strong portfolio that showcases your ability to create engaging motion graphics and animations. You'll also be able to demonstrate your expertise in various design and editing software.
