Infrastructure Architect Opportunity

We're seeking a skilled Infrastructure Architect to design and build our cloud platform from the ground up. This is a greenfield opportunity to create a scalable and secure infrastructure that will shape our engineering culture.

You'll collaborate with our CTO and engineering leadership to define our infrastructure philosophy. Every decision you make - from network topology to data encryption strategies - will set the standard for how we build and ship software.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Achieve architecting our cloud platform on GCP, making crucial decisions on everything from serverless architecture to security best practices.
  • Implement a robust CI/CD pipeline that reduces deployment times from 30 minutes to sub-5 minutes.
  • Create an infrastructure-as-code foundation using Terraform, establishing patterns for long-term scalability.
Security & Compliance Architecture:
  • Lead our SOC2 compliance journey by integrating security into every layer of our infrastructure.
  • Implement customer-managed encryption and zero-trust networking as foundational principles, not afterthoughts.
  • Develop automated security scanning and remediation systems that make compliance invisible to developers.
Platform Development:
  • Build a self-service platform that enables developers to provision infrastructure in minutes, not days.
  • Create golden paths that make the secure, scalable choice the default choice.
  • Design observability systems that provide developers with real-time insights in production.
Scalability Preparation:
  • Achieve architecting systems that can handle 100x growth without major rewrites.
  • Integrate cost optimization into our DNA - making smart resource decisions early.
  • Develop disaster recovery and backup systems before they're needed.
