SAP ABAP Consultant Role

Job Summary:

An SAP ABAP consultant is responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing ABAP programs for SAP S/4HANA. The ideal candidate will have expertise in collaborating with functional teams, supporting data migration, ensuring code quality, and contributing to S/4HANA best practices and upgrades.

About the Role

This role involves leveraging and implementing new S/4HANA development techniques, including Core Data Services (CDS) Views, AMDPs, and the Rapid Application Development (RAP) model. Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing, developing, and optimizing ABAP programs, reports, interfaces, enhancements, and forms (RICEF objects)
  • Leveraging S/4HANA technologies, such as CDS Views and AMDPs
  • Working independently, managing own tasks and deliverables with minimal supervision
  • Contributing effectively within a team environment

The successful candidate will be able to design, develop, and implement complex solutions using ABAP programming language. They will also contribute to the development of technical documentation and assist in the training of junior team members.

Requirements
