Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior SAP ABAP Consultant to design, develop, and implement custom SAP solutions. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in ABAP programming, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work closely with functional consultants and business stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, test, and maintain custom SAP ABAP programs, enhancements, reports, and interfaces.
  • Work on RICEF objects (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms).
  • Collaborate with functional consultants to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Optimize and improve existing SAP applications for performance and scalability.
  • Debug and resolve issues in SAP standard/custom programs.
  • Ensure compliance with SAP best practices and coding standards.
  • Support SAP upgrades, migrations, and integration projects.
  • Mentor junior developers and contribute to technical reviews.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 7–10+ years of SAP ABAP development experience.
  • SAP Core ABAP experience is a must.
  • Strong knowledge of RICEF objects, BAPIs, BADIs, and User Exits.
  • Hands-on experience with ABAP on HANA, CDS Views, AMDPs, OData services.
  • Experience with SAP UI5/Fiori integration (added advantage).
  • Strong debugging and performance tuning skills.
  • Good understanding of SAP modules (SD, MM, FI, PP, etc.) and their integration points.
  • Excellent communication and client-facing skills.

Good to Have

  • Exposure to SAP S/4HANA projects.
  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies.
  • SAP ABAP certification.
