US Mortgage Loan Servicing Specialist

About the Role- As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring seamless asset and portfolio management support to our USA-based client.
We provide comprehensive virtual business process services to clients worldwide, and this position is an excellent opportunity to join our dedicated team of professionals.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct daily loan maintenance tasks with utmost care and attention to detail.
- Ensure timely setup of new loans, adhering to strict compliance guidelines.
- Audit reviews will be performed to ensure accuracy and adherence to regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate with third-party loan servicing companies to facilitate smooth transactions.
- Maintain accurate records of customer accounts and ensure data integrity.
- Process billing statements, payments, and NSF payments with precision.
- Update loan servicing systems with property releases, interest rate changes, and other relevant updates.
- Review and process monthly billing statements, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Process payoff letter requests, maintaining confidentiality at all times.
- Balance loan servicing systems with accounting systems, ensuring accurate financial reporting.
- Monitor collateral-related activities, including home owners' liability, flood insurance, and other related matters.
- Run expired reports, process cancelations, and maintain information in loan servicing systems.
- Evaluate escrow insurance needs and process as required, informing managers and stakeholders accordingly.
- Monitor property tax obligations, maintaining accurate records in loan servicing systems.
- Demonstrate expertise in foreclosure processing, engaging with counsel as necessary.
- Process extensions and create extension agreements for loans reaching maturity, adhering to regulatory guidelines.
- Minimum 2-4+ years of experience in US mortgage loan servicing, with a proven track record of success.
- Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, vlookups, hlookups, and macros.
- Excellent business relationship management skills, with the ability to understand and meet the needs of our clients.
- Demonstrate strong knowledge of underwriting philosophy, techniques, filing regulations, and guidelines.
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills, including presentations to senior management.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, MBA, CFA, or other post-graduate degree; additional certifications a plus.
- Strong finance and accounting skills, with expertise in loan interest calculations and financial policy implementation.
- Comprehensive knowledge of US legal regulatory requirements related to client mortgage business.
- Customer account reconciliation and reporting skills, with a focus on accuracy and timeliness.
- Advanced Excel customization skills, with experience in report development and presentation.
- Strong commitment to delivering exceptional service to overseas clients, with utmost care and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with customers and business partners.
- Good team player with high integrity, maintaining strict confidentiality of client data and information.
- Self-motivated and proactive, with a keen eye for detail and a willingness to learn new technologies.
Location: Hi-Tech City, Hyderabad
Timings: USA Shift IST 5:30pm to 2:30am (EST 8am to 5pm)
Estimated Salary: ₹25 lakhs - ₹35 lakhs per annum (approximately USD $32,000-$45,000), commensurate with experience
