As a senior data engineering professional, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with leading experts and gain valuable hands-on experience in developing advanced data solutions. You will lead a team of data engineers focused on delivering scalable data solutions to clients and ensuring high standards of data quality and client satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Develop large-scale data/analytics solutions operating in production environments
  • Manage multiple, complex data engineering projects simultaneously
  • Apply strong problem-solving skills and handle complex, ambiguous situations
  • Provide exceptional project management skills, with experience in Agile methodologies
  • Collaborate effectively across functions and levels, with comfort working in virtual teams

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 6-8 years of data engineering experience in programming and building large-scale data/analytics solutions
  • Proven experience in managing multiple, complex data engineering projects simultaneously
  • Strong technical background and experience in a consulting environment
  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to work effectively with minimal supervision
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal

Preferred Qualifications

The ideal candidate will also possess:

  • Certifications in analytics/visualization tools or cloud platforms (e.g. Snowflake, AWS Data Analytics Specialty)

  • Data analytics tools: SQL, Python, Snowflake
  • Data engineering tools: SSIS, Matillion, dbT
  • CDC tools: Fivetran, STRIIM
  • Data visualization tools: Tableau, Power BI
  • Cloud platform: AWS, Azure
  • CI/CD pipelines, automation tools, and DevOps practices
