Job Role:

Software Development and Operations Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Development and Operations Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable software systems.

  • Key Responsibilities:
    • Develop and implement robust software solutions using Python and other relevant technologies.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize system enhancements and improvements.
    • Design and implement data storage solutions using databases such as SQL.
    • Implement video encoding and image processing using FFmpeg and GraphicsMagick/PIL.
    • Ensure the smooth operation of our digital asset management platform by troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.
  • Technical Requirements:
    • Expert-level knowledge of Python programming language.
    • Experience with Git, CI/CD, and DevOps tools.
    • Knowledge of web frameworks such as Tornado, Flask, or FastAPI.
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a remote team.
  • Nice to Have:
    • Experience with machine learning and associated tools.
    • Knowledge of web proxy servers (nginx/Apache/Traefik).
    • Familiarity with SaaS stacks such as task queues, search engines, and cache servers.
