About the Portfolio Monitoring Role

This is a dynamic position within a global team that specializes in market research, working with top-rated investment research organizations and leading asset managers. We cater to several prominent banks, supporting them on deal origination, execution, valuation, and transaction advisory-related projects.

Responsibilities-

  • Involve in financial modeling, key credit metrics calculation, and reporting for portfolio monitoring purposes
  • Identify performance indicators and create reports for the credit review process
  • Calculate covenant compliance against facility agreements and provide rationale for results
  • Perform regular reviews and populate associated templates
  • Business Analysis and SWOT analysis
  • Conduct financial analysis (historical and forecast) and operating, leverage, and liquidity ratios
  • Covenant Performance and Threshold Verification
  • Collateral analysis and Ad-hoc support to portfolio managers
  • Mentor junior team members and manage their performance and development
  • Client communication and Project Management support

Requirements-

  • Masters degree in finance, economics, or accounting from a reputed institute with 2+ years of experience in portfolio monitoring
  • Strong accounting and financial skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to solve issues effectively
  • Good MS Office skills and excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to ensure tasks are completed on time and practice attentive listening skills
