
Strategic Placement Leader

We are seeking a seasoned professional to work as a Director of Placement for our campus. The Director, Placement will be responsible for preparing students for the placements and ensuring placements of students in programs.
The ideal candidate should have a strong industry connection with private sector companies, startups, recruitment firms, and HR Consultants. They should also be well-connected with Industry Associations, Forums, and Industry Captains.
The role requires excellent negotiation skills, communication skills, and presentation skills. The candidate should be able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize their workload effectively.
- Placement Support:
- A strong industry connection with private sector companies, startups, recruitment firms, and HR Consultants.
- Well-connected with Industry Associations, Forums, and Industry Captains.
- Well-versed with online communities and social media platforms.
- Versatile in networking through job portals and various technology platforms.
- Interacting with industries on a regular basis concerning career opportunities and employment trends.
- Connecting with other resources and institutions (government affiliated bodies).
- Helping Placement & Departments to identify internship opportunities for students.
- Handling complete placement data management and maintaining internship and placement data.
- Preparing detailed reports from placement data for periodical reviews.
- Ability to manage flexible & extended time requirements as and when needed.
- Identify and organize interaction programs on career opportunities in the university and external agencies.
- Tracking application forms, pre-screening candidates, shortlisting and scheduling interviews.
- Monitoring individual candidates' progress.
- Providing counseling on procedures to the applicants.
- Ensuring accurate and proper record-keeping of applicants' information in electronic and digital format.
- Training Support:
- Organize Skill Lab Orientation programs.
- Take full responsibility for enrolling students in the Career Service Tech platform by coordinating with different academic institutions.
- Conducting various training programs at different academic institutions.
- Work closely with subject experts, learning engagement coaches to revise and update the curriculums.
- Proactively strengthening knowledge and providing feedback on methodologies in the training process.
- Overseeing and managing the Digitally Enabled Platform for which training shall be provided.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Essential: A Bachelor's degree in management, human resources, business administration, or a related field.
Desirable: Postgraduate degree in management, human resources, business administration, or a related field.
