Senior Cloud-Networking Software Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled software engineer with deep knowledge of networking protocols and experience building distributed, cloud-native systems. The ideal candidate is a developer who will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust, scalable software solutions that integrate modern cloud technologies with advanced networking capabilities.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Design and Implement Network-Focused Software: Focus on control and management plane protocols to ensure seamless network operations.
  2. Develop Telemetry Modules: Work with network telemetry protocols and REST APIs for performance monitoring and analytics to enhance visibility and troubleshooting.
  3. Build Networking Software: Leverage Layer 2 (L2) and Layer 3 (L3) networking protocols (ARP, IP, VLAN, TCP/IP) metrics to improve network management and troubleshooting.
  4. Collaborate with Cloud Architects: Design and optimize cloud-managed networking solutions to ensure scalability and reliability.
  5. Contribute to Distributed Architectures: Develop fault-tolerant, distributed architectures to ensure resilience and high availability.
  6. Implement Real-Time Communication: Utilize WebSockets for real-time communication features.
  7. Deploy Networking Applications: Use containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes) to deploy and scale networking applications.
Requirements
  1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  2. Strong software development skills with proven experience building production systems.
  3. Solid understanding of network protocols across control, management, and data planes.
  4. Familiarity with L2/L3 concepts (ARP, VLAN, IP, TCP/IP) in a software development context.
  5. Knowledge of real-time communication frameworks (WebSockets preferred).
  6. Experience deploying software in containers (Docker) and Kubernetes clusters.
  7. Understanding of resilient system design, including redundancy and high availability.
