Ruby on Rails Developer Opportunity

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled full-stack developer with experience in Ruby on Rails to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of professional experience in developing robust, scalable, and maintainable applications using Ruby on Rails.

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and developing complex software solutions using Ruby on Rails, working closely with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements, collaborating with designers to create visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces, participating in code reviews to ensure high-quality code standards, and staying up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in web development.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Proficiency in Full-Stack Development: Minimum 3 years of experience in full-stack development with Ruby on Rails.
  • Technical Expertise: Strong hands-on experience with React.js (v18+), including state management (Redux, Context API), component architecture, and performance optimization.
  • API Design and Development: Proficiency in RESTful API design and development; experience with GraphQL is a plus.
  • Modern Frontend Build Tools: Experience with modern frontend build tools: Webpack, Babel, npm/yarn, and package management.
  • Database Design and Optimization: Solid understanding of database design and optimization using PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB.
  • Version Control: Experience with version control using Git and collaboration platforms (GitHub, GitLab).
  • Agile Development Methodologies: Familiarity with agile development methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
  • Testing Frameworks: Experience with testing frameworks: RSpec, Minitest (backend), Jest, Cypress (frontend).
  • Cloud Platforms and Deployment Practices: Understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and deployment practices (Docker, CI/CD).
