Job Description

This is a long-term contract position with a global technology leader.

We are seeking an Observability Engineer with expertise in AWS, Synthetic Monitoring, and Dynatrace to design scalable synthetic monitoring platforms across hybrid/multi-cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement observability solutions across cloud and hybrid environments.
  • Lead adoption of APM tooling and embed synthetic monitoring into modern service architectures.
  • Develop onboarding strategies for cloud, hybrid, and edge telemetry sources with a focus on synthetic monitoring.
  • Integrate observability tooling to deliver unified insights.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and develop custom synthetic monitoring solutions.
  • Contribute to open-source or internal observability tooling/standards for synthetic monitoring.
  • Drive documentation, training, and cross-team knowledge sharing to strengthen monitoring practices.
  • Collaborate with application teams to embed synthetic monitoring into new service architectures.
Required Skills & Experience

We require the following skills and experience:

  • 5–7 years of experience with Dynatrace and Synthetic Monitoring.
  • Strong expertise in AWS.
  • Proven experience in designing and implementing observability solutions across cloud and hybrid environments.
  • Familiarity with other monitoring/observability tools is a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving, collaboration, and communication skills.
