About the Position:

We are seeking a highly analytical and self-driven Service Sales Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Service business unit, you will play a crucial role in simulating site-specific benefits of our upgrade portfolio while verifying structural integrity of installed wind turbines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Re-assessment of Existing Wind Farms: Utilize an internal tool chain to confirm compatibility of certain upgrades and turbine-specific structural integrity.
  • Wind Conditions Assessment: Evaluate site-specific wind conditions, apply mechanical load mitigation strategies, and run bucket approaches to assess lifetime extension possibilities.
  • Upgrade Sales Support: Create benefit calculations, drive validation campaigns, and initiate implementation of upgrades.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work with global service regions, after-sales colleagues, and customers to convince stakeholders and enable successful product sales.
  • Business Performance Impact: Contribute to measurable improvements in the global Service business unit's performance.
  • Professional Development: Build a large network within the company and industry to stay updated on new technological developments.
  • Strategic Representation: Represent the team in strategic discussions and development decision meetings.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in engineering, project management, or a related field.
  • Experience: 5-10 years in wind & site assessments, mechanical loads department, or equal technical service organizations in the wind energy industry.
  • Skills: Highly analytical, holistic approach, strong problem-solving skills, self-driven, focused, and pragmatic.
  • Language: Fluent in English; German is an advantage.
