Risk Management Specialist

Strengthening organizational governance, risk management, and compliance practices requires seasoned professionals to drive initiatives and ensure regulatory adherence. At a senior level, this entails leading teams effectively and managing stakeholders across multiple audits.
- Governance & Compliance Lead: With 7-9 years of experience in GRC initiatives, audits, and stakeholder engagement, you will be responsible for driving regulatory compliance and team management.
- Assistant Governance & Compliance Officer: Supporting policy implementation, risk assessments, and security initiatives for 4-6 years, you will collaborate closely with infrastructure, application, and security teams to maintain compliance with SEBI, RBI, ISO 27001, SOC, and other frameworks.
Critical Responsibilities
- Interpret and implement IT governance and information security requirements from regulatory bodies.
- Develop, review, and implement policies, procedures, and ISMS documentation to align with industry standards.
- Conduct thorough IT risk assessments and maintain the IT Risk Register.
- Support the implementation of ISO 27001 and SOC governance frameworks.
- Coordinate internal/external audits and provide audit evidence to ensure compliance.
- Drive cybersecurity initiatives, preventive/corrective actions, and awareness programs to safeguard the organization.
- Manage user training, communication, and risk reporting across departments.
- Collaborate with vendors and internal stakeholders to ensure secure solution implementation.
Qualifications & Experience
- For Governance & Compliance Lead: 7-9 years of total experience, with at least 5 years in GRC/InfoSec, including exposure to BFSI/NBFC regulatory compliance (SEBI, RBI).
- Professional certifications preferred: CRISC, CGEIT, CISM, ISO 27001, COBIT, CEH, CISA, CISSP.
- Ability to lead teams, manage stakeholders, and handle audits end-to-end.
- For Assistant Governance & Compliance Officer: 4-6 years of total experience, with at least 3 years in GRC/InfoSec, including experience in regulatory requirements, ITGC, ISO 27001.
- Certifications (ISO 27001, CISA, CEH, etc.) preferred.
- Strong execution and process orientation.
