Electrical Industry Sales Manager

Job Overview:

• Seeking a seasoned Team Leader to oversee OEM sales operations for our switchgear product line in Delhi NCR.
• The ideal candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of the electrical industry, strong relationships with OEMs, and the ability to lead a high-performing sales team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a team of OEM sales executives across Delhi NCR, fostering collaboration and driving performance.
• Set performance targets and conduct regular reviews, providing constructive feedback and coaching to enhance team capabilities.

Sales Strategy & Execution:

• Develop and execute regional sales strategies aligned with national goals, identifying opportunities for growth and expansion.
• Drive revenue growth through OEM partnerships in the switchgear segment, leveraging existing relationships and establishing new connections.
• Cultivate close collaborations with marketing and product teams to inform regional campaigns and initiatives.

Client Relationship Management:

• Maintain and strengthen relationships with OEM clients in the region, delivering tailored solutions and exceptional customer service.
• Demonstrate an understanding of client requirements and preferences, offering customized switchgear solutions that meet their needs.
• Prioritize high levels of customer satisfaction and post-sales support, ensuring long-term loyalty and advocacy.

Market Intelligence & Expansion:

• Maintain a keen awareness of competitor activities and market trends in Delhi NCR, adapting sales strategies accordingly.
• Identify and pursue new OEM opportunities in industrial clusters like Manesar, Noida, and Faridabad, expanding our reach and influence.
• Provide actionable insights and recommendations to product and R&D teams, informing regional development and innovation efforts.

Reporting & Analysis:

• Ensure accurate sales records and prepare comprehensive monthly performance reports, tracking progress and key metrics.
• Analyze regional sales data to identify areas for improvement and growth opportunities, informing strategic decision-making.

Requirements & Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Business Administration, or related field, demonstrating a solid foundation in business principles and technical acumen.
• 6-10 years of experience in OEM sales, preferably in switchgear or electrical products, with a proven track record of success and leadership.
• Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate high-performing teams.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with a talent for building strong relationships and networks.
• Familiarity with CRM tools and MS Office, with the ability to leverage technology to drive efficiency and productivity.
• Willingness to travel within Delhi NCR, with flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.

• Existing network of OEM clients in Delhi NCR, with established relationships and partnerships.
• Technical understanding of LV switchgear products, with the ability to provide expert guidance and support.
