Job Description

The successful candidate will lead a team of 3D artists, defining and developing the overall visual style, tone, and artistic vision for 3D projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Visual Style and Vision: Define and develop the overall visual style, tone, and artistic vision for 3D projects, ensuring cohesive and engaging experiences.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and provide constructive feedback to a team of 3D artists, including modelers, texture artists, and animators, fostering growth and expertise.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with game designers, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure art aligns with project goals and technical limitations.
  • Pipeline Development: Develop and maintain the 3D art pipeline and production workflow, ensuring efficient creation and integration of assets.
  • Quality Control: Review all art assets and deliverables to maintain high artistic quality and consistency throughout the project.

Requirements:

  • Education: A bachelor's degree in fine arts, graphic design, animation, or a related field is typically required.
  • Experience: 8+ years of experience in 3D art production, with at least 2-3 years in a leadership or senior artist role, preferably within the relevant industry.

Desirable Skills and Expertise:

  • Technical Skills: Proficiency with industry-standard 3D software (e.g., Maya, Blender, 3ds Max, ZBrush) and experience with texturing and sculpting tools (e.g., Substance Painter, Adobe Creative Suite).
  • Soft Skills: Proven team management and mentorship skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and strong creative and critical-thinking skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • AR/VR Experience: Familiarity with AR/VR platforms and UX/UI design principles.
