Advanced Excel Analyst Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Excel Analyst to provide advanced Excel analysis and reporting support to our customers. This role requires a blend of technical expertise and strong communication skills to deliver accurate insights and ensure exceptional customer experience.

The ideal candidate will possess strong knowledge of formulas and functions (e.g., VLOOKUP, INDEX-MATCH), Pivot Tables, Charts, and text manipulation. Additionally, they should have excellent time management and multitasking abilities, with a focus on customer satisfaction and the ability to exceed expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform data analysis and create reports using advanced Excel functions.
  • Develop charts, pivot tables, and dashboards for business insights.
  • Communicate effectively with customers, demonstrating active listening, empathy, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ensure timely and accurate execution of tasks while maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve issues and provide solutions.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Experience: 2+ years of direct customer-facing experience in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excel Expertise: Strong knowledge of formulas and functions (e.g., VLOOKUP, INDEX-MATCH), Pivot Tables, Charts, and text manipulation.
  • Customer Focus: Strong focus on customer satisfaction and ability to exceed expectations.
  • Adaptability: Quick learner with adaptability to new tools and processes.
  • Time Management: Excellent time management and multitasking abilities.
  • Problem-Solving: Problem-solving skills with the ability to make informed decisions based on research and prior experience.
  • Attention to Detail: High attention to detail and ability to follow instructions with 100% accuracy.
  • Communication: Strong English communication skills (written and verbal) with proper grammar and spelling.
  • Software Proficiency: Proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint.
