Automated Software Quality Assurance Professional

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Automated Tester to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining automated test code, using industry-standard tools and methodologies, to ensure the quality and reliability of our software products.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automated testing, with experience in writing efficient and effective test scripts, as well as a solid understanding of software development lifecycle stages. They will also possess excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve issues.
Core Responsibilities- Automated Testing: Develop and maintain automated test code using industry-standard tools and methodologies, to ensure the quality and reliability of software products.
- Test Code Development: Write efficient and effective test scripts, including simple SQL queries and SOAP/RESTful API automation scripts.
- Testing Documentation: Create comprehensive testing documentation, including test plans, test summary reports, and other relevant materials.
- Test Execution: Execute automated test scripts and present results to stakeholders.
- Broken Test Diagnosis and Repair: Analyze broken test cases, diagnose, and repair to working order.
- Code Review: Perform code reviews of automation scripts and front-end codebases, diagnosing and repairing simple bugs within production code.
- Mentorship: Serve as a guide and mentor for junior-level engineers, providing technical leadership and consultation on best practices, procedures, and techniques.
Our ideal candidate will possess the following skills and qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Experience: 5-7 years of experience in automated testing, with a strong background in software development lifecycle stages.
- Skills: Strong programming skills in Java, JavaScript, and other relevant languages; experience with CI/CD tools, Selenium, Selenium Webdriver, and Test Management Tools.
- Other Requirements: Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a cross-functional team; excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
