Production Supervisor Job Description

As a Production Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading and motivating a team of production workers to ensure efficient and effective operations within the assigned area or shift in Nashik.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leadership and Motivation: Provide clear instructions, guidance, and support to ensure efficient and effective operations.
  • Tactical Planning: Monitor production output and ensure that production targets are met or exceeded while maintaining quality standards and adhering to production schedules.
  • Quality Management: Implement and enforce quality control procedures to ensure products are manufactured according to specifications and quality standards.
  • Safety Compliance: Enforce all safety regulations and company policies to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Resource Optimization: Manage resources effectively to optimize production efficiency and minimize waste.
  • Troubleshooting and Problem Solving: Identify and resolve production-related issues and equipment malfunctions in a timely manner.
  • Training and Development: Provide on-the-job training to new and existing production workers and identify opportunities for skill development.
  • Performance Evaluation: Monitor and evaluate the performance of production team members, providing feedback and coaching to improve individual and team performance.
  • Record Keeping: Ensure accurate and timely completion of production records.
  • Process Improvement: Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to identify and implement process enhancements that improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance product quality.
