Job Title: Senior Data Specialist - Pharmaceutical Industry

About the Role:
This is an exciting opportunity to work with a highly skilled team in the pharmaceutical industry. As a Senior Data Specialist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality data solutions to support clinical trials and research projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement SAS programs to convert data from EDC systems to protocol-specific SAS datasets.
  • Validate edit check programs using standard validation practices and processes.
  • Assist in the creation of project programming and validation documentation.
  • Develop SAS macro and format libraries.
  • Review and approve User Requirement Specifications (URS), Clinical Data Management (CDM) conventions, and related documents.
  • Maintain the SAS environment, providing assistance with installation, updates, and maintenance.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • 8+ years of SAS programming experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
  • 5+ years of experience working with CDISC, SQL, and Relational Databases.

Skills and Qualifications:
  • Strong attention to detail and a meticulous approach to work.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong documentation and organizational skills.
