Senior Auditing Expert

Audit Senior is responsible for overseeing daily audit operations for clients worldwide. This role involves working closely with onshore and offshore teams to deliver high-quality results.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of US GAAP, GAAS, UK GAAP, IFRS, audit methods, and tools. They will plan, execute, and report on engagements effectively.
This position requires the ability to oversee daily audit operations, work with the team to solve accounting, auditing, and other issues, and use audit tools and technology. The candidate must be involved in all audit stages: planning, execution, and reporting.
Key Responsibilities- Plan and execute assigned tasks within project scope and deadlines.
- Monitor engagement progress and identify best practices on engagements.
- Work with the team on methodologies and tools to perform tasks within project scope.
- Develop an understanding of quality and risk management procedures and ensure they are embedded into the engagement team's work.
- Actively engage with assurance teams to manage workflow and allocate resources.
- Oversee team utilization and track budget versus actuals.
Required Qualifications
Candidates must have a Qualified Chartered Accountant (ICAI) qualification and at least 2 years of post-qualification experience in Statutory Audit.
Preferred Qualifications
Prior experience in auditing with exposure to US clients or understanding of US GAAP/GAAS/IFRS is preferred.
