Job Description

An Interior Designer at Dar will prepare conceptual design ideas and building interior drawings that address aesthetics and practicality.

The designer will analyze user requirements while participating in research, conceptual development of designs.

Present and express architectural interior design ideas and planning by free-hand sketches.

Work in a team and coordinate with other disciplines to prepare complete construction drawings, documents, specifications for architecture interior design and maintaining graphical standards for deliverables.

Requirements
  • Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch), Master of Architecture (M'Arch), Bachelor of Interior Design (B'ID), Master of Interior Design (M'ID) in architecture or relevant degree.
  • 4-10 years of relevant experience with good technical competency.
  • Very good knowledge of primary software such as Revit, Sketchup, AutoCAD, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
Qualifications
  • Textures and material product selections.
  • Furniture, decorative lighting, equipment & window treatment product selections and specifications.
  • Ergonomics.
  • Architectural interior lighting.
  • Sanitary fixtures, fitting & accessory products.
  • Disability codes and applicability to layouts.
  • Material sample boards.
Soft Skills
  • Enthusiastic, inventive and imaginative bent of mind with positive work ethics and able to work in demanding environment.
  • An intermediate to advanced working knowledge of Revit for architectural interior design concepts.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Excellent command in English language.
