Software Engineer Role Summary

As a skilled software engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing scalable technology solutions that meet the needs of our business. You will work closely with local teams and partners to deliver high-quality engineering projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, build, and test new systems from scratch with minimal support.
  • Collaborate with local team members and partner teams to achieve project goals.
  • Ensure quality standards are met throughout the development process.
  • Identify performance issues and optimize solutions to improve system efficiency.
  • Apply knowledge of security coding practices and secure system fundamentals to prevent vulnerabilities.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 7+ years of professional experience in the practice area, including expertise in Java, Spring Boot, design patterns, AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, Postgres SQL, CD/CD, GitHub, Jenkins, Kafka, and Agile methodology.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of microservices architecture patterns.
  • Familiarity with synchronous/asynchronous processing and error handling patterns with Spring Boot.
  • Experience building web services and integrations with message-driven architecture.
