Job Title: Senior Quality Operations Manager

Description

This is a key role in our organization, responsible for leading and managing a large team of 30+ members in the Quality Control department. The successful candidate will oversee various analytical teams, including LC-MS, Nasal analytical, and FT-NIR analytical teams, to ensure regular testing and method validation activities are executed efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the QC-AMV team for regular testing/method validation activities, utilizing sound analytical knowledge and leadership qualities to achieve company goals.
  • Provide backup support to the QC Head of Department, ensuring daily updates, commercial output, monthly sample status, training, and coordination with all stakeholders are aligned with requirements.
  • Execute and approve different types of QMS (OOS, OOT, Investigation etc), identify scientific root causes, implement effective CAPA, and maintain Lab compliance.
  • Design and execute planning of analysis (Routine work, Method validation and Method transfer), data interpretation, and presentation to HOD.
  • Drive self-improvement, make informed decisions, and be a good learner. Provide guidance to team members for improving work quality and monitor/report on key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • In the absence of the QC-HOD, lead all types of QC-AMV work and actively participate in departmental improvement programs to enhance output and quality.
  • Collaborate and coordinate with cross-functional teams like QA, RA, R&D, and PMI to progress allocated tasks with ownership and accountability.
  • Stay updated on industry developments and emerging trends to remain competitive in LC-MS and FT-NIR techniques.
  • Maintain adherence to GLP and Health, Safety Environment systems in the Laboratory and represent the team during FDA Audits (US, MHRA, EU).
