Global Trade Compliance Specialist Role:

We are seeking a skilled specialist to join our team in the field of global trade compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform Customs Trade HTS & ECCN Classification determinations for spare parts and other products for import and export purposes.
  • Assist in collecting and maintaining accurate compliance data records.
  • Support compliance training, audit activities, and report generation.
  • Participate in root cause analysis of international trade issues and provide recommendations for corrective actions.
  • Support Customs inquiries related to product classifications.
  • Conduct classification analysis using various trade tools such as GRIs, CROSS rulings, WCO explanatory notes, and Export Regulations & other Classification Tools.

Ideal Candidate Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have knowledge of advanced technology and processes involved in semiconductor, flat panel, and solar cell manufacturing.

The candidate should be able to demonstrate expertise in import and/or export trade compliance elements, including Harmonized Tariff Schedules, Export Classification Commodity Numbers, Customs entry process, Customs invoicing requirements, special trade program requirements, etc.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Classification analysis skills using various trade tools.
  • Knowledge of import and export regulations.
  • Expertise in Customs entry process and invoicing requirements.
  • Ability to analyze and resolve international trade issues.
  • Excellent communication and record-keeping skills.
