Key Account Manager Job Description

As a professional in this role, you will be responsible for managing key accounts and driving sales growth. You will interact with partner branches, branch managers, and customers to explain products and solutions, ensuring that sales targets are met on every parameter.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with partner branches to drive sales growth.
  • Ensure sales targets assigned are met on every parameter through effective customer engagement and product knowledge.
  • Interact with customers to explain products and solutions, promoting the brand and exceeding branch level targets.
  • Provide sales support, correct training, product updates, and sales information to help branches achieve insurance sales targets.
  • Maintain good relationships with bank branch managers, interacting with them regularly to assess business status and provide support as needed.
  • Foster sales growth by managing the relationship between internal teams and channel partners.
  • Assist bank branches in adopting new processes and technology to improve efficiency and productivity.
  • Ensure branch teams meet their insurance targets by providing sales support, correct training, product updates, and sales information.
  • Align partners to work towards common goals.
  • Provide customer service, including grievance redressal, claim settlement, renewal, and adequate customer support.
