US Tax Specialist Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Associate to join our team of tax professionals.
The primary role of this position is to review and enhance the work prepared by associates on moderate to complex tax returns. You will foster a collaborative relationship with colleagues and managers, ensuring exceptional quality and timely delivery of tasks assigned to your team.
Responsibilities:
- Display a good level of understanding of moderate and advanced tax concepts on partnership and corporate tax returns, continuously enhancing tax knowledge through client work and staying up to date with tax developments.
- Ensure exceptional quality and timely delivery of tasks assigned to their team.
- Train and mentor associates and advanced associates.
- Assist the team in tax research to develop a deep understanding of tax theory and principles and apply them appropriately on partnership and corporate tax returns to fulfill client requirements.
- Enhance teamwork and have the ability to communicate with teams.
- Provide assistance to managers on projects as requested.
- Demonstrate independent judgment and decision-making capabilities when preparing tax returns.
- Foster a supportive and collaborative team environment.
- Manage and lead a team and the team's workflow effectively with minimal assistance.
Requirements:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Strong team player with excellent interpersonal skills and coaching/mentoring abilities.
- Experience working on US business tax returns (1065/1120) with complex situations and special allocations.
- Good knowledge of moderate and complex tax concepts.
Qualification:
- Minimum of 3-6 years of experience in US Corporate taxation.
