As a US Accounting Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the financial integrity and compliance of our clients. Your expertise in bookkeeping, financial records management, and tax preparation will be invaluable to our team.

The responsibilities of this position include:

  • Maintaining accurate books of accounts, including ledgers, journals, and financial statements for US-based clients.
  • Reconciling bank statements, credit card transactions, and other financial data regularly.
  • Preparing month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing reports.
  • Monitoring accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections.
  • Preparing and filing federal, state, and local tax returns in accordance with IRS guidelines.
  • Ensuring compliance with US tax regulations, filing deadlines, and reporting requirements.
  • Assisting clients with tax planning, minimizing tax liabilities while maximizing legal deductions.
  • Reviewing and analyzing tax notices and correspondence, assisting clients with resolution.
  • Providing regulatory compliance advice and supporting in financial audits, tax audits, and related assessments.
  • Identifying and implementing process improvements to ensure regulatory compliance.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • CPA or EA (Enrolled Agent) qualification is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Candidates pursuing CPA/EA are welcome.
  • 0-3 years of experience in US bookkeeping, tax preparation, or financial compliance.
  • Knowledge of US GAAP, IRS regulations, and state-specific tax laws.
  • Fresh graduates with strong knowledge of US taxation and accounting practices are encouraged to apply.
  • Proficiency in accounting and tax software, such as QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, TurboTax, Lacerte.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail with high accuracy.
  • Effective communication skills for interacting with clients and internal teams.

Salary: 10 LPA to 20 LPA + Incentive (Based on Candidate)
