AI Backend Engineer

As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining backend architecture, software development, and implementing machine learning algorithms. You will work closely with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements.

Our ideal candidate has hands-on experience with ML and can contribute to the design, building, and scaling of production-ready AI systems. Strong software engineering fundamentals combined with applied machine learning expertise are essential for this position.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Backend System Development: Design and implement robust backend systems and APIs to deploy and scale ML solutions.
  • Cloud-Native Infrastructure: Work with cloud-native infrastructure (AWS) to design cost-efficient, high-availability ML pipelines and scalable cloud-supported backend solutions.
  • ML Lifecycle Workflows: Implement ML lifecycle workflows — from experiment tracking (MLflow/Kubeflow/DVC) to orchestration (Airflow/Prefect).
  • Product Development: Contribute to end-to-end product development: data ingestion, preprocessing, model serving, monitoring, and continuous improvement.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with founders and cross-functional teams in a fast-paced startup environment.
  • Intelligent Agents: Work with founding engineers to embed intelligent agents, predictive models, and decision-making capabilities into backend workflows using Predictive learning through ML algorithms.
Requirements:
  • Hands-on experience with ML.

  • Experience with cloud-native infrastructure (AWS).
  • Knowledge of ML lifecycle workflows.
