Job Title: Wet Etch Equipment Engineer

Description:

Maintain and optimize wet etch equipment in a semiconductor wafer fabrication environment.

  • Ensure the proper functioning of 200/300mm Wet Benches (SES, DNS, FSI Zeta) and single wafer processing tools, including SEZ SP223/DVI, Semi tool spectrum, DNS, TEL, and FSI.
  • Perform technical tasks such as robot teaching and adjustments for mentioned tools.
  • Carry out proactive and corrective maintenance of WET etch equipment to minimize downtime and ensure optimal performance.
  • Develop and implement plans for predictive maintenance activities, procure necessary consumables, and oversee parts management.
  • Conduct thorough troubleshooting and root cause analysis using Fish bone/8D and 4D methodologies to resolve tool issues effectively.
  • A basic understanding of Brooks & Assyst SMIFs is required.
  • Execute tasks with a focus on safety and good housekeeping practices.
  • An added advantage is knowledge of Mitsubishi/Omron PLC.
  • Sub-systems like CDS, DI heaters, ozone generators, and chillers require experience.
  • Understand chemical safety principles to ensure a safe working environment.
Eligibility Criteria:

To be successful in this role, candidates must possess:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in semiconductor wafer FAB equipment maintenance.
  • A degree or diploma in engineering with relevant work experience.
  • Excellent communication and troubleshooting skills are essential.
  • A positive attitude, strong team player skills, self-motivation, and ability to work independently or collaboratively.
