**Job Overview**

We are seeking a talented and experienced Java Backend Developer to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • As a core member of an agile development team, you will be responsible for driving user story analysis, elaboration, and design of responsive web applications using the best engineering practices.
  • You will perform hands-on software development, spending most of your time writing code, unit tests, conducting proof-of-concepts, and testing in ongoing sprints.
  • Develop a deep understanding of integrations with other systems and platforms within supported domains.

**Required Skills and Qualifications**

  • Hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent.
  • Have 3-4 years of work experience.
  • Proven expertise in Java, with at least 5-7 years of experience demonstrating good knowledge of the language.
  • Demonstrate a solid understanding of web fundamentals and HTTP protocol.

**Benefits**

  • Experience working with Java 11 and above is a plus.
  • Knowledge of frameworks such as Spring, Spring Boot, Dropwizard is a significant advantage.
  • Recent experience working in JavaScript on Node.js is also beneficial.
  • Proficiency in Test-Driven Development (TDD), Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) practices, unit testing, functional testing, system integration testing, regression testing, GUI testing, web service testing, and browser compatibility testing, including frameworks like Selenium, WebDriverIO, Cucumber, JUnit, Mockito.
  • Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous delivery environments.
  • 3-4 years of experience working in Agile or SAFe development environments.
  • Strong understanding of distributed systems.
  • Proven ability to build scalable web applications using Java.
