We are seeking a highly qualified individual to fill the role of Professor in Anatomy.

Job Overview

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing academic leadership in teaching, research, and clinical skills training within the Department of Anatomy.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Teaching & Academic Leadership:
    • Deliver high-quality lectures, practical sessions, and tutorials in Anatomy to undergraduate and postgraduate medical students.
    • Guide postgraduate students in advanced anatomical studies, thesis writing, and seminars.
    • Develop innovative teaching methodologies including digital anatomy, simulation-based training, and cadaveric dissection.
    • Design and update the Anatomy curriculum as per regulatory standards.
  • Research & Publications:
    • Conduct and supervise original research projects in gross anatomy, histology, embryology, neuroanatomy, and clinical applications.
    • Publish research papers in reputed peer-reviewed national and international journals.
    • Guide Ph.D. scholars and postgraduate students in research methodology and publications.
    • Collaborate with other departments and external institutions on interdisciplinary research.
  • Administrative & Leadership:
    • Serve as Head/Coordinator of the Department (if designated).
    • Organize academic events such as conferences, webinars, and workshops.
    • Maintain departmental records, laboratory resources, and ensure compliance with institutional, ethical, and regulatory standards.
  • Clinical Skills & Simulation:
    • Oversee Clinical Skills & Simulation Lab (if applicable).
    • Integrate anatomical knowledge with clinical case discussions and surgical correlations.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • MD (Anatomy) / MS (Anatomy) or equivalent recognized qualification.
  • 8+ Years of teaching experience in Anatomy as per NMC norms.
  • Strong academic background with evidence of research publications in indexed journals.
  • Experience in curriculum development, e-learning, preferred.
