Job Title: Financial Systems Strategist

 

About the Role:

This position is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing Oracle Fusion Finance solutions that align with the organization's financial objectives and overall business strategy.

 

Main Responsibilities:

  • Solution Design: Develop and implement Oracle Financials solutions that meet business needs with a focus on industry best practices
  • Enterprise Design Leadership: Lead the enterprise design/process design along with client business teams
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate Oracle Fusion Financials with other third-party applications
  • Leadership and Guidance: Provide functional and technical leadership and guidance to development teams and consultants working on projects.
  • Documentation: Create and maintain documentation, including architecture diagrams, solution designs, and configuration guides
  • Industry Knowledge: Stay informed on Oracle updates, industry best practices, and emerging trends in finance and technology
  • Client Solutions: Develop optimal solutions to meet client objectives, including understanding project scope and identifying key dependencies
  • Solution Proposals: Propose high-level solutions and delivery estimates
  • Client Presentations: Lead demonstrations during client presentations and orals
  • CXO Engagement: Lead conversations with client CXOs, Senior VPs, and Directors across business and IT

 

Requirements:

  • Education: CA (or equivalent) or Master's degree in Finance
  • Experience: 16+ years' experience in Oracle Financials (Fusion + EBS)
  • Process Understanding: End-to-end understanding of RTR, P2P, OTC, Acquire to Retire processes
  • Module Expertise: Deep expertise in Oracle ERP modules in Financials plus a working knowledge of Procurement
  • Skills: Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex business problems
  • Communication: Excellent communication skills, capable of effectively engaging with executive-level stakeholders
  • Travel: Willingness to travel for client meetings and project engagements

 

Additional Skills:

  • Additional module knowledge in Advanced Collections and Credit Management, Expenses, Project Costing/Billing, or Any Other Area
  • Industry-specific knowledge and deal dynamics are preferred
