Job Overview

The Data Management Group Associate role is a strategic pillar in our research vertical, responsible for maintaining and enhancing the quality and accuracy of our research content.

This dynamic position entails managing and scaling a best-in-class research team, overseeing update processes for multiple regions globally.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Research and Knowledge management: Deliver high-quality updates for your regions, ensuring the highest standards of financial, market, and business research on our platform.
  • Quality guardianship: Regularly review updates executed by your team, identifying quality issues and addressing them via trainings.
  • Recruitment: Support hiring research analysts to meet group headcount and content targets.
  • Team management: Train, develop, and motivate team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and personal and professional growth.
  • Strategic initiatives: Identify and own improvement opportunities, executing data improvement initiatives in the DMG group.
  • Technology: Identify and drive technical initiatives to automate workflow further.

As a successful candidate, you will have a hands-on attitude and ownership mindset.

Requirements

To excel in this role, you need:

  • 5+ years of experience, preferably in a mid-level role for a shared services/competence centre for Strategy Consultant, Global IBD, Big 4, or research centre based in India.
  • Previous experience and affinity with the PE & VC market is an advantage.
  • You have worked in the financial/professional services industry and have a strong interest in this area.
  • Succesfully managed a team size of ~10 or more FTEs.
  • Intrigued by and experienced in detailed company analysis and research.
  • World-class communication skills.
  • Bias to action – you get a lot done with minimal effort.
  • Hands-on mindset – you enjoy owning deliverables.
  • A positive, decisive, and empathic management style.
