Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced data professional to design, develop, and implement enterprise-level data management and analytics solutions using SAP Datasphere.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design data pipelines and integrations within SAP Datasphere and associated SAP environments.
  • Build logical and physical data models, replication flows, ETL processes, and task chains.
  • Manage tenant setup, user roles, object- & row-level security, and metadata catalogs for compliance.
  • Connect SAP and non-SAP systems, develop APIs, and deliver datasets to BI platforms.
  • Handle content and version control across development, test, and production systems.
  • Optimize model and query performance, monitor data flows, and ensure reliability.
  • Partner with functional teams (Finance, Sales, Supply Chain) and assist in pre-sales or requirements gathering.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Hands-on experience with SAP Datasphere in multiple end-to-end implementations.
  • Strong data modeling skills (SQL, CDS, graph).
  • Proficiency in replication, ETL, task chains.
  • Expertise in security design: roles, scopes, cataloging.
  • Experience integrating SAP Datasphere with SAC, external APIs, and scripting languages (SQL, Python, JavaScript).
  • Understanding of SAP BTP architecture and cloud security.
  • Familiarity with SAP ECC or S/4HANA modules (e.g., Finance, SCM, Sales).
  • Experience with BI tools like SAP Analytics Cloud, Power BI, or Tableau.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in teams and agile environments.
  • Mentorship and training capabilities for junior colleagues.

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
  • Minimum 7 years experience in SAP BW/HANA analytics.
  • At least 2 years of SAP Datasphere-focused project work.
