Job Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced analog design engineer to lead the development of power management ICs, including voltage regulators, power converters, and other related components.

  • Design multiple power ICs with switching converters, from system level specifications to production.
  • Analyze and resolve technical challenges and risks, providing technical expertise and mentorship to junior engineers.
  • Develop complete switching converters and involved IPs, mitigating challenges related to high current/power switching converter design.
  • Have a thorough understanding of power devices, operations, and design trade-offs for better performance and reliability.
  • Oversee the development, integration of complex IPs like positive/negative charge pumps, source/sink LDOs, ultra-low power oscillators (including relaxation type), temperature sensors, current sense, SAR ADCs, housekeeping blocks, protection (thermal, under-voltage, over-voltage, over-current etc) and other analog blocks including bandgap references, V2I, analog buffers, op-amps, comparators, high-speed level shifters etc.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Mentor junior engineers in upscaling their technical skills as well as other required skills for better efficiency.
  • Determine the IC architecture and break down system/chip-top level requirements into block-level specifications.
  • Work with team members to develop blocks, integrate blocks into top-level designs, and ensure desired performance.
  • Establish design flows and methodologies, including checklists and reviews, to ensure quality designs.
  • Define protection for the I/O ring of the IC.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in electrical engineering.
  • At least 10 years of experience in analog circuit design.
  • A solid understanding and design experience of complex analog designs with full ownership.
  • Chip design, verification, silicon validation, debugs, qualification support, and taking ICs to production.
