Senior Data Engineer

We are seeking a seasoned data engineer to drive the design and implementation of next-generation data platforms.

This key role will oversee the development, deployment, and maintenance of scalable data architectures to support business-critical initiatives.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • - Design and implement highly available and scalable data pipelines using big data technologies such as Spark and Hudi.
  • - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data architecture roadmaps and ensure alignment with business goals.
  • - Develop and maintain documentation for data architectures, pipelines, and related systems.
  • - Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
  • - Troubleshoot and resolve complex data engineering issues to minimize downtime and maximize system uptime.

Requirements:

  • Technical Expertise:
  • - Proficient in Python and Java programming languages.
  • - Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts and experience working with infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform.
  • - In-depth knowledge of big data processing frameworks including Spark, Kafka, Glue, EMR, and Hudi.
  • - Familiarity with data warehousing and data governance principles.
  • Education:
  • - Master's degree (M.Tech/MS) or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 8+ years of experience in data engineering, with a strong focus on scalability, reliability, and high availability.
  • Experience working with graph databases such as Neo4j, Neptune, JanusGraph, and Dgraph.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to communicate complex technical ideas effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
