
Business Growth Strategist

This position is responsible for the analysis and maximization of revenue streams across various business sectors. The successful candidate will be tasked with maintaining high standards of Revenue Management, conducting regular reviews and measurements to ensure alignment with established goals.
The role involves closely monitoring forecasts and market trends to identify opportunities for growth and demand generation. Collaboration with regional teams is essential to develop targeted strategies that drive revenue expansion.
To achieve these objectives, the Senior Revenue Manager will conduct in-depth analysis of city-wide and special events, implementing tailored Revenue Management strategies to maximize demand generators. Continuous monitoring of competitors' shifts in demand, rate, and strategy is also crucial.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct short- and long-term forecasting analysis, analyze trends in group inventories & rates, including occupancy, goals, product line, and strategic sales goals.
- Analyze and monitor marketing channels, key, and other account production to ensure effective support of products and maintain rate parity.
- Review future booking and evaluate trends to inform data-driven decisions.
- Update all distribution channels as needed with rate or inventory restrictions to optimize revenue potential.
- Collaborate with regional teams to develop region-specific strategies that drive growth, establish relevant goals, and benchmarks to measure performance.
- Monitor and analyze competition weekly through various channels, internet, news reports to identify selling strategies and emerging trends.
- Explore and provide variations in market mix to stimulate additional revenue without increasing costs.
- Ensure maintenance of software programs contributing to revenue management.
- Assist with implementation of Revenue Management basics and standards, automate consultations, and document action plans.
- Foster a culture of Revenue Management throughout all departments.
- Develop and implement succession planning for Revenue Management talent.
- Knowledge of hospitality sales, marketing, and revenue management functions, including research, planning, market positioning, market segments, internal marketing, distribution channels, sales management, reservations, and yield management.
- Excellent oral and written communication and organization skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Proficient at statistical and competitive analysis.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
