Product Design Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Mechanical Engineer to drive the end-to-end product design and development of consumer and industrial electronic products. This role requires leadership ability to guide a small team of engineers, with strong technical background and hands-on problem-solving skills.
The ideal candidate will have 8-10 years of mechanical product design & development experience, with a strong background in consumer electronics or similar domain experience. They must be proficient in SolidWorks CAD expertise with simulation exposure (thermal/structural FEA preferred).
Key Responsibilities:- Develop complete mechanical designs and manage the development lifecycle from concept design through to prototyping, design validation, tooling, and product launch.
- Translate customer/market requirements into innovative and manufacturable product designs that meet or exceed customer expectations.
- Create detailed 3D CAD models and 2D drawings with full GD&T and tolerance stack-up.
- Perform design calculations, DFMEA, and tolerance analysis for robust product performance.
- Lead and mentor a small team of 2–3 mechanical engineers, providing technical guidance and design reviews.
- Cross-functionally collaborate with electrical, firmware, quality, sourcing, and manufacturing teams to ensure successful product development.
