About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Urban Projects Coordinator to support our Cities and Urban Landscape initiatives. This is an ideal opportunity for a professional with a passion for creating people-centered urban spaces and strong project coordination skills.

  • Support the development and execution of urban landscape and complete streets projects, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
  • Conduct site visits and gather data to inform project planning and design.
  • Assist in the preparation of design concepts, presentations, and reports related to complete street projects.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders, including government agencies, community groups, and consultants, to ensure effective project implementation.
  • Assist in organizing and facilitating community consultations and workshops to gather valuable feedback.
  • Conduct research on best practices in urban landscape design and complete streets, supporting project development.
  • Collect and analyze data to evaluate project outcomes and inform future initiatives.
  • Prepare project documentation, progress reports, and presentations.
  • Assist with the logistical coordination of project-related events and activities.
Qualifications

A bachelor's or master's degree in urban planning, urban design, landscape architecture, or a related field is required.

  • Minimum 3 years of professional experience in urban planning, landscape design, or project coordination.
  • Solid understanding of urban planning principles and sustainable development practices.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Familiarity with design software (AutoCAD, SketchUp, GIS) is desirable.
Preferred Qualifications

Experience working with government agencies and NGOs is preferred.
