Job Role
As a Business Finance expert, you'll be part of a close-knit group working in domains such as Financial Reporting, Finance Operations, Business Finance, Treasury Management, and Taxation. You will get a chance to work closely with finance industry experts and solve complex challenges.
We are looking for someone who can provide relevant financial support to enable effective planning while applying budgeting and forecasting techniques. The ideal candidate will have an evolving view on how to manage planning ambiguities emanating from lack of perfect information, conflicting business objectives, and environmental dynamics.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop business plans, measure performance, and control expenses
- Translate business strategy into financial targets and tactical plans and support execution in a controlled risk and reward-based manner
- Provide financial guidance to the business, apply moderate budgeting and forecasting techniques, and demonstrate financial models using simulation tools
- Work on hard problems amidst significant ambiguity and often conflicting end goals; entailing significant business risk/impact
- Analyze financial data, conduct root cause analysis, and adapt market or industry best practices for the organization
- Train teams and build organizational capability across all knowledge areas, and leverage a customer-first perspective to make business cases
- Shape information to management with insightful external and internal perspectives and influence how business risks and opportunities are addressed
What You Will Need
To excel in this role, you will require:
- Minimum 4 years of Business Finance experience, Chartered Accountant or Post-Graduate in Finance
- Strong analytical rigour and problem-solving skills
- Experience of leading a team and forming strong collaborations with stakeholders
